Christian Portilla is a Spanish professional soccer player who plays for Canadian club Ottawa Fury FC as an attacking midfielder. In 2018 he became the first Canada-based player to join Common Goal is a pledge-based charitable movement launched by the global NGO streetfootballworld with the support of Manchester United player Juan Mata. The movement encourages professional soccer players and coaches to pledge at least one percent of their salaries to a collective fund that supports football charities around the world. More than 70 players and coaches have joined the movement including global superstars from the United States, Italy, Germany, Japan and England who have collectively raised over $750,000 for non-profit organizations all over the world.
